   • States include Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, Puducherry, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.

2. Background Eligibility:

   • Children of commercial drivers (LMV/HMV).
   • Children of mechanics.
   • Children from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

3. Academic Performance:

   • Must have scored at least 60% or above in your previous class.

4. Family Income:

   • The total family income should not exceed ₹8 lakh per annum.

5. Non-Eligible Groups:

   • Children of employees of Valvoline Cummins and their service providers are not eligible.

Benefits of Muskaan Scholarship

Selected students under the Muskaan Scholarship Program will receive the following benefits:

• Scholarship Amount: Up to ₹12,000 based on the student's actual academic expenses.

Note:

• The scholarship amount will cover expenses like tuition fees, books, uniforms, and stationery.
• The scholarship amount will be disbursed annually to the recipients.

Required Documents for Muskaan Scholarship 2024

Before applying for the scholarship, make sure you have the following documents ready:

1. Proof of Identity: Aadhaar card.
2. Admission Proof: Fee receipt, admission letter, institution identity card, or bonafide certificate.
3. Previous Year Marksheet: Signed and stamped original marksheet.
4. Parent’s Profession Proof:
   • Commercial Driving License (for drivers).
   • Shramik Card (for mechanics).
   • Confirmation from the employer or a self-declaration letter attested by the authority.
5. Family Income Proof:
   • Income certificate issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counselor/Sarpanch.
   • Income certificate issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar.
   • Last three months’ salary slips or Income Tax Return (ITR).
6. Bank Account Details: Bank details of the applicant.
7. Photograph: Recent passport-size photo.

Important Note:

• If a student cannot pay the academic fees in advance, they can submit a fee letter issued by their institute and receive the scholarship amount in advance. However, they must submit the final fee receipts afterward.
