About the Program

The Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program 2024-25 is a social initiative by Group Legrand India. It provides financial support to:

• Meritorious girls
• Differently-abled girls
• Covid-affected students
• LGBTQ+ students
• Students with single parents or orphans

This scholarship helps these students pursue higher education in fields like Engineering, Finance, and Science. Depending on the category, students can receive 60% to 80% of their annual course fees, ensuring they can complete their education without financial burdens.

Scholarship Categories

1. General Category
   Open to meritorious girl students across India pursuing undergraduate degrees such as B.Tech., B.E., B.Arch., B.B.A., B.Com., or B.Sc.

   • Scholarship Benefit: Up to 60% of annual course fees or INR 60,000 per year.

2. Special Category
   Includes differently-abled girls, LGBTQ+ students, Covid-affected students, orphans, and students with single parents.

   • Scholarship Benefit: Up to 80% of annual course fees or INR 1,00,000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria

• General Category:

  • Open to Indian girl students only.
  • Must be enrolled in B.Tech., B.E., B.Arch., B.B.A., B.Com., or B.Sc.
  • Minimum 70% marks in Classes 10 and 12.
  • Family income must be less than INR 5,00,000.

• Special Category:

  • Open to differently-abled girls, LGBTQ+ students, and those affected by Covid or orphans.
  • Must be enrolled in B.Tech., B.E., B.Arch., B.B.A., B.Com., or B.Sc.
  • Minimum 60% marks in Classes 10 and 12.
  • Family income must be less than INR 5,00,000.

Scholarship Benefits

• General Category:
  • 60% of the annual course fee, up to INR 60,000 per year.
• Special Category:
  • 80% of the annual course fee, up to INR 1,00,000 per year.

1. Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID)
2. Proof of Age (Birth Certificate, Aadhaar, Class 10 certificate)
3. Class 10 and 12 Marksheet
4. Family Income Proof (Income Certificate, Form 16, bank statements)
5. Bank Account Details (applicant or parent's account)
6. Passport-size Photograph
7. Admission Proof (current year fee receipt)
8. Special Category Documents (PwD or LGBTQ+ certificate)

1. Visit the Buddy4Study portal and log in with your registered ID.
2. If not registered, create an account with your email, mobile number, or Gmail.
3. Click on the Legrand Empowering Scholarship 2024-25 form.
4. Fill out the online application form and upload the required documents.
5. Review your application and click Submit.
